EASTER MONDAY, APRIL 21—We learned today with sadness of the death of our Holy Father Pope Francis and would ask for your prayers for his soul, as we pray for all of the souls of the deceased. Bishop Senior will offer Mass for Pope Francis at the Cathedral at 7 pm, and the parish will organize a Requiem Mass for the late Holy Father soon and will publicize the details.

Please join us in praying this prayer from the Requiem Mass for a deceased pontiff: 

O God, Who in Thy ineffable providence, did will that Thy servant Francis should be numbered among the high priests, grant, we beseech Thee, that he, who on earth held the place of Thine Only-begotten Son, may be joined forevermore to the fellowship of Thy holy pontiffs. Through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
